I would like to open up a business in my town. A mixed martial arts business… where I would not teach or train, but run the business. I would like to hire a few different people to teach classes in different arts/techniques. Any ideas would be helpful.
to further explain myself… I hold a 3rd degree black belt in ju jitzu and have studied various forms, to include karate, gung fu, tai kick boxing, and jeet kun do.

I want to get into MMA, like UFC and stuff like that. I have no prior experience in organized fighting. What would be some good first steps for me to take in learning how to fight mixed martial arts? Do i need to learn karate or something?

How would I become an MMA fighter. It doesn’t matter amateur or professional. I’m 15, I train on my own 1-3 hours daily, am pretty good at fighting, and I have a background in kung fu, tae kwan do, and karate.
You know how alot of ex-NFL players after they reach 50 can barely walk or maybe younger. It seems that the toll on the body of the NFL players can be devastating later on. Will MMA fighters experience the same thing? Could a person expect to have 30 MMA fights and be a healthy individual afterward? Is fighting MMA like playing russian roulete with your health?
I’ve been contemplating doing some MMA classes to get some basic martial arts skills down to be able to defend myself if any issues arise.
Now what I’d like to know from some of the more experienced people out there is how much would 2-3 months of MMA training get me in a fight? Furthermore, with more training, how far does that get you?
Basically, I’m just trying to figure out how long to train for or if I should go for it depending on how long I’d have to be in classes to be fairly good at defending myself in a physical scuffle.

Part of my project for my sport management class is interviewing someone who works with the organization that I’m analyzing, which is the UFC. Does anyone know of a way I could contact someone who works with the UFC?
