I’ve been contemplating doing some MMA classes to get some basic martial arts skills down to be able to defend myself if any issues arise.
Now what I’d like to know from some of the more experienced people out there is how much would 2-3 months of MMA training get me in a fight? Furthermore, with more training, how far does that get you?
Basically, I’m just trying to figure out how long to train for or if I should go for it depending on how long I’d have to be in classes to be fairly good at defending myself in a physical scuffle.
Samuel Peter would come agressive then he would tire out. Then Randy Couture would run him against the cage then take him down then the Randy Couture would get the ground n pound then the ref will push Randy Off of Peter and Randy Couture would be named winner.
Part of my project for my sport management class is interviewing someone who works with the organization that I’m analyzing, which is the UFC. Does anyone know of a way I could contact someone who works with the UFC?
He’s one of my alltime fav heavyweights, lethal punching power and great chin…. How do you think Lennox would fare in UFC against the likes of somebody in the light heavy or heavy division? He’d have a disadvantage on the ground but his punching abilities would be far superior.
Once again, hypothetically speaking, if Dean Lister goes back up to 205 lbs, and Frank Mir drops down to 205 lbs, who would win? They both specialize in submission.
I want to add the little detail that although Dean Lister has 11 wins and 5 loses, he has never been knocked or submitted in his MMA career.
I would say Randy Couture would win for the reason it would be a heavyweight bout; therefore Couture would get bigger with more muscle instead of slimming. I would like to see a unified champion for the heavyweight and light-heavyweight championship I think it would be a first in the prime era of UFC. I might be wrong.
.org This is my opinion on why Brock Lesnar would defeat Fedor Emelianenko with ease. I think that Brock has the same strengths as Randy Couture, and the problems posed to Fedor by Randy Would be amplified by Brock. Hopefully this fight happens in the UFC, Ultimate Fighting Championship so we can see how Fedor fares in a cage. But this should technically be a very easy victory for Brock. … Fedor Emelianenko UFC Ultimate Fighting Championship Brock Lesnar MMA Mixed Martial Arts Predictions …
I don’t know much about UFC but its entertaining to watch. My question is, what moves aren’t allowed? And if banned moves were allowed and the fight was to death, how much different would the fights look? Would the same fighters/ styles be just as dominant? Would the fighters be more conservative or more aggressive?
I know its a bit of a morbid question but I’m just curious thats all.
I used to call it “standing” Ju Jitsu!
